Chinese pancakes are a type of thin flat Bǐng pancake found in Chinese cuisine. They may be either savory or sweet, and are generally made with dough[1] rather than batter. They include the following:

  • Bao bing (薄饼), a variety of thin pancake
  • Bing (饼), the generic Chinese term for disc-shaped flatbreads
  • Cong you bing (葱油饼), a salty, unleavened flatbread whose dough contains oil and minced scallions (green onions).
  • Laobing (烙饼), an unleavened flatbread made from wheat flour
  • Jian bing (煎饼), a thin, fried egg pancake similar to a crepe
  • Yue bing (月饼),it is also called mooncake, a kind of food which is eaten during the Mid-autumn Festival. There are many kinds of fillings, such as meat, fruit, vegetable, and so on, with bean paste or lotus paste with cooked whole egg yolks being a popular version. They have various decorative patterns and words.
